Spiritual Life

Chapel is a special part of life at our school and one of the ways we come together as a community to grow in faith, worship, and encourage one another in our walk with Christ. More than a weekly gathering, chapel is family time; a place where students and staff unite to experience God's presence and deepen their relationship with Jesus. 

With two services each week, elementary and middle school students engage with God’s Word through meaningful, age-appropriate teaching that helps them understand biblical truth and apply it to everyday life. Through engaging messages, dynamic worship, interactive activities, and our annual chapel theme, students experience learning in ways that are memorable, relevant, and fun. We believe students grow best when they are actively involved, encouraged, and inspired.

Students also have opportunities to lead worship throughout the year, helping them build confidence, develop leadership skills, and use their gifts to honor God. Worship is a joyful and uplifting experience where our school community gathers in praise and prayer.

Throughout the year, we are blessed by a variety of speakers from our local community, as well as our own teachers and staff who faithfully invest in the spiritual growth of students each day. Chapel creates a Christ-centered environment where faith, discipleship, learning, and community come alive, equipping students to build a strong spiritual foundation and live out their faith both on campus and beyond.

Our K–8 Bible program is designed to cultivate a deep understanding of Scripture while shaping a strong, Christ-centered worldview. In grades K–5, students engage in Bible instruction four days each week, in addition to participating in a weekly chapel service that reinforces key spiritual truths through worship and community. The elementary curriculum is built on a foundation of biblical literacy and worldview development, guiding students through a comprehensive Bible survey while introducing 20 essential truths that anchor their faith and understanding of God’s Word.

In middle school, students deepen their engagement with Scripture through focused, grade-level study. Sixth grade provides an in-depth exploration of the Old Testament, helping students understand its historical context, narrative, and themes. In seventh and eighth grades, students turn their attention to the New Testament while also examining key biblical themes, making connections across Scripture and applying biblical truth to their lives. Throughout the program, students are encouraged to grow in knowledge, faith, and personal application as they develop a lasting foundation in God’s Word.

We believe faith is meant to be lived out, not just learned about. Through a variety of outreach opportunities, students are encouraged to serve others, show the love of Christ, and make a meaningful impact in their school, local community, and beyond. From service projects and giving initiatives to community partnerships and hands-on opportunities to care for others, students learn the importance of compassion, generosity, and servant leadership. These experiences help students grow in their faith while discovering how God can use them to make a difference in the lives of those around them. Take a look at our outreach opportunities below:

Our Middle School Worship Team is a vibrant group of 7th and 8th grade students whose heart is to glorify God through music and leadership. More than just a band, this team is a community of student leaders committed to growing in their faith and pointing others to Christ. They faithfully pray for their peers, lead worship during chapel, and strive to live lives that honor God both on and off the platform. 

We meet weekly to practice, grow, and encourage one another, and we welcome students of all musical abilities and vocal levels. Whether experienced or just starting out, every student has a place to use their gifts, develop their talents, and be part of something meaningful as they lead our school in worship. 

Our middle school is supported by a dedicated team of three chaplains; one for each grade level (6th, 7th, and 8th), who are committed to truly knowing and caring for every student. Their goal is to see each child as an individual, staying in tune with their needs, walking alongside them through challenges, and celebrating the meaningful moments in their lives. 

Students regularly meet with their grade-level chaplain for personal check-ins, creating space to share what’s going on in their world, receive encouragement, and be prayed for. These consistent, relational touchpoints help build trust and ensure that every student feels known, supported, and spiritually cared for as they grow both in and out of the classroom.
