Instructional Support

At Faith Christian Academy, we meet student need within the classroom by using ability grouping and differentiated instruction. If a student struggles in the classroom, Faith Christian uses an RTI type model (Response to Intervention) for student support. An RTI approach involves initially gathering data from assessments and the classroom, implementing a support plan with multiple tiers of instruction, monitoring student progress on a regular basis, and then re-evaluating data and tiered support over time with teacher and family involvement to make any necessary adjustments. The goal of this model is to provide a learning environment that supports student learning and ensures academic progress.
